9º | 9th

Quando olhamos para alguns jornais a percepção não é essa, mas o meu país é o 9º mais seguro do mundo. Depois de semanas de ataques cerrados da imprensa do 49º país mais seguro do mundo à polícia do 9º , sabe bem saber disto. Será que isto afecta de alguma maneira o investimento internacional? Ou as novas 7 maravilhas do mundo irão gerar mais receitas para os países que as possuem do que a noção de segurança? Conheço pessoas que vivem com medo nos bairros onde moram desde sempre, por isso de que segurança estamos a falar? É a segurança que o 96º país apregoa e com que justifica todas as acções militares fora do seu solo? Contem quantos países estão acima desse país que estiveram em conflito com/por causa do nº 96 (já agora,vejam também abaixo). E quantos países na segunda metade da tabela possuem petróleo, diamantes? Há países de 3º mundo mais seguros que países do G7… Será que podemos desafiar o Canadá para um desempate por grandes penalidades?

When we look at some newspapers that may not be the perception, but my country is the 9th safest in the world. After weeks of tough attacks by the 49th safest country press against the police of the 9th, it feels good to know it. Does this affect in any way the international investment? Or will the new 7 wonders of the world generate more revenues to the countries that own them than the notion of safety? I know people that live in fear in the neighborhoods where they always lived, so what sort of security are we talking about? Is it the safety that the 96th country proclaims and uses to justify all the military actions beyond their grounds? Count how many countries above that country that were in conflict with/because of #96 (since you’re at it, look also below). And how many countries on the second half of the table have oil, diamonds? There are 3rd World countries safer than G7s… Can’t we challenge Canada to a penalty shoot-out play-off?
